Before Your Appointment:

To ensure the best results and avoid complications:

• Avoid retinoids, exfoliants (AHAs/BHAs), and active skincare ingredients for 3–5 days prior.

• Do not tan or expose skin to direct sun for at least 7 days prior.

• Avoid injectables (Botox, filler) within 2 weeks of treatment.

• Disclose any medical conditions, cold sores, or recent treatments to your clinician.

• Arrive with a clean face — no makeup, sunscreen, or skincare products.

• Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and exercise for 24 hours before treatment.

After Your Treatment

Expect redness, tightness, and mild swelling for 1–3 days. This is normal and part of the healing process.

For 72 hours after:

• Do not touch or pick at the skin.

• Avoid makeup, sunscreen, and actives (vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs, retinol).

• Avoid sweating, heat, swimming, and direct sunlight.

• Use only gentle, hydrating products recommended by your practitioner.

From Day 4:

• You may experience light flaking or peeling – do not exfoliate.

• Introduce sunscreen and light actives only when advised.

• Hydrate and protect your skin diligently.

• Have active acne, open wounds, or skin infections

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding (unless cleared by a doctor)

• Have had Botox or fillers within the last 2 weeks
